In August of 1979 the Billy Graham Crusade was taking place at Milwaukee County Satdium. My husband and I had planned to attend the three day event. I received a phone call the night before the event from my brother, Billy Waters, who at that time had just broken up with a girlfriend and wanted to come and visit his *older* sister in Milwaukee for the weekend. I said "You picked a great weekend, as we are going to attend the Billy Graham Crusade at Milwaukee County Stadium. My brother joined my husband, Wally and son, John and myself that weekend. After Billy Graham's message Fri. night, I began my tearful walk down on the grounds to give my life to Christ. I realized that my brother was following and also my husband and son. We all gave our hearts to Christ that night and that was the beginning of a *since* lifetime of prayer groups, bible studies, etc.
I want to keep this brief but I have to tell you that since we all attended The Billy Graham Crusade in Milwaukee in Aug. 1979, my brother became a devoted Christian and Pastored many people. He was in the Holy Land many times, viewing the land of Christ and encouraging many along the way to accept Christ. My brother died at age 48 undergoing open heart surgery in Dec. 2005. My husband also died of cancer 8 years ago. He also was so devoted to leading others to Christ and it all happened thru the weekend Billy Graham Crusade in Milwaukee, 1979. I am secure in my faith with Christ and it all began with the weekend.

Just to share a thought. I've never met the Rev. Billy Graham, nor have I attended a crusade, still his deliverance of the gospel thru TV reached me. My father would watch his televised crusades and my heart would be so convicted that I wouldn't sit in the room. I have long since surrendered my life to Christ and now love to sit and listen to crusades. Praise The Lord.
